THE WINTER WRATH (BOOKBABY BOOKSHOP & AMAZON BOOKS) & MUD LOVE TROLL @AMAZON

Excerpt from
MUD LOVE ROLL
A tongue comes in under her bedroom door leading down the steps. Then, she sees the round long deadbolt piece fall off to hit the floor, while a button penis starts to protrude, too.
The next morning, Dixie sees they’ve already cleaned Craig’s walk. Then, she takes her laundry down. She sees he’s overloaded the washer, so she throws it all on the table. Then, he comes out of his apartment. She tells him, “You get free laundry so there’s no need to overload like this.” He approaches her, almost touching.
He reaches out his hand to show her ear plugs, “Am I noisy? Here are some ear plugs in case I am.” He shoves his hand at her again. Then, he talks louder and steps closer, “If I’m noisy, you can use these plugs.” She steps back as he forces her into the washer dryer nook.
She tells him, “Take it up with the landlord if you got a problem with noise. Step off. I don’t want the ear plugs. Use them yourself.”
“You walk across the floor and make noise. You’re always making noise.”
“None of your business what I do when I’m walking. Get back.” But he doesn’t. So, she yells, “Get the fuck back. I happen to live upstairs.” Her defense comes up so strong she’s ready to kill. “Get the fuck back!” Now she knows. He believes he needs to take control by force, like Hitler did, to put her where he wants her. Attack, push his ethics like she’s wrong, and yell. He stands still.
“Get the fuck back!” she yells louder. He backs up just far enough so she can get by. He’s using extremist polices for personal power and recognition. Like Hitler did. Dixie runs up the steps to call the landlord.
The girl at the office says, “I’m sorry for that experience. We’ll let Craig know to stay away from you. If you want to leave a paper trail, call the police. Then, it’ll be on record.” So, Dixie does.
1 Corinthians 15:44-50
44 It is sown a physical body, it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a physical body, there is also a spiritual body. 45 Thus it is written, “The first man Adam became a living being”; the last Adam became a life-giving spirit. 46 But it is not the spiritual which is first but the physical, and then the spiritual.
